How to Fix the “YouTube Invalid Parameters” Error in Kodi

There are many add-ons that use YouTube as their source for playing videos. In many cases, once you try to watch specific videos with specific add-ons you get this annoying error message: “YouTube Invalid parameters”. This error also prevents the video from being played. However, this problem can be fixed easily.

Here are the instructions on how to fix the “YouTube invalid parameters” error:

  • Launch Kodi
  • Click Add-ons
  • Click My add-ons
  • Click Video add-ons
  • Click YouTube
  • Click Update
  • Choose the latest version of the add-on and click on it. If you have several repositories we recommend choosing the Kodi Add-on repository.

The problem was caused by the outdated version of your YouTube add-on, updating it should solve this issue.  Now you can enjoy watching your videos!
