How to Fix the “YouTube Invalid Parameters” Error in Kodi

There are many add-ons that use YouTube as their source for playing videos. In many cases once you try to watch specific videos in specific add-ons you get this annoying error message: “YouTube Invalid parameters”. This error also prevent the video from being played. However this problem can be fixed easily.

Here is how to fix the “YouTube invalid parameters” error:

  • Launch Kodi
  • Click Add-ons
  • Click My add-ons
  • Click Video add-ons
  • Click YouTube
  • Click Update
  • Choose the latest version of the add-on and click on it. If you have several repositories we recommend choosing the Kodi Add-on repository.

The problem was caused by outdated version of your YouTube add-on, updating it should solve this issue.  Now you can enjoy watching your videos!
