The TMP (Telegram Media Player) app allows you to safely connect to your Telegram account from your Android TV box or smart TV. This way, you can browse your chats, groups and channels and watch your desired media on your TV in the easiest way possible.
The app is the perfect companion and sync with your Telegram account. You control what you want to see on your screen using the remote control.
TMP doesn’t host any content of any kind. It only shows content from chats, groups and channels found on your Telegram account.
Here are the instructions on how to install the TMP app:
You can install the app using an APK file or from the Amazon App Store.

- Click Install

- Click Phone # inĀ the sidebar
- Enter the phone associated with your Telegram account in international format and click Next Step

- Click Telegram Code and enter the login code
- Click Next Step
- Move to the sidebar of the app where you can see the options: pinned, channels, group, private chats, unknown and settings.
Here are the settings of the app:
- Sidebar folders view – Select from show all, show basic folder only and show custom folder only
- Select player – Select from internal, VLC, MX Player and MX Player Pro. We recommend using MX Player.
- Select pre buffer – Select the size of the pre-buffer. A larger buffer prevents buffering but increases the loading time of the media. In most cases, 50 should be the best option.
- Select pre buffer before playing – Open a dialog to choose the size of the pre-buffer before playing the media
- Select player before playing – Open a dialog to choose the player before playing the media
Tips about using TMP efficiently:
- Join groups and channels in Telegram that contain media files like movies and TV shows. Those groups and channels will appear automatically in TMP

- Create folders in Telegram, each one representing a category, and place groups and channels there accordingly
- The search on the main page searches for groups and channels. The search inside groups and channels searches for files inside of them
- The following media formats are supported: MKV, MP4, AVI, MP3
How to create a private channel on Telegram:
- Click on the hamburger menu (the three lines at the upper left corner)
- Click New Channel
- Enter channel name and click Create

- Click Skip
How to create a new folder on Telegram:

That’s all, now you can use the TMP app. Enjoy it!
