One of the main things making Stremio a great app is that you can install it everywhere and enjoy your favorite video content on every platform you use. Stremio is available in the Google Play Store but not in the Amazon App Store used by Amazon Fire TV devices. However, you can still easily install Stremio on those devices with the Downloader app.
Here are the instructions on how to install Stremio on Amazon Fire TV:
- In the Amazon Fire TV home screen, click Find and then click Search
- In the search field, type Downloader
- Select Downloader from the list of results to install it
- Hold the home button of your Amazon Fire TV remote, click Settings, and then click My Fire TV
- Click Developer options and then click Install unknown apps
- Click Downloader to turn it on
- Hold the home button of your Amazon Fire TV remote, click Apps, and then click Downloader
- Enter the URL: https://www.stremio.com/downloads
- Click Go
- On the download page of Stermio, look for the Stremio for Android TV, and click on Stremio ARM APK to download it
- Wait till the download is completed
- Click Install in the Stremio window
- Wait till the installation is completed
- Click Done
- Click Delete in the Download popup to delete the APK file
- Click Delete in the Confirmation popup
Now, you can run Stremio on your Amazon Fire TV device. Enjoy it!
