Ever wanted to test the internet speed of your Kodi device? It can be done by using the Speed Tester add-on which is based on the Speedtest.net tester. Running a speed test will determine how fast your internet is and will help you to troubleshoot problems related to streaming.
Here are the instructions on how to install Speed Tester:
- Launch Kodi
- Click Add-ons
- Click the Add-on browser icon
- Click Install from repository
- Click Kodi Add-on repository
- Click Program add-ons
- Click Speed Tester
- Click Install
- Wait till you see an Add-on installed message
How to use the add-on:
- Go to the Kodi home page
- Hover over Add-ons
- Under Program add-ons, click Speed Tester
- Click the Run button
- Click the Run Speedtest button
- The test will take a few minutes to complete. Wait until you see the results and the Close button
